Who We Are
Our History
The Innisfail Kinsmen Club was established in 1979. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to enhance our community and the experiences of our citizens. One of our continuing efforts is to work with the Town of Innisfail to purchase equipment for our local parks and playgrounds. We also donate to numerous sports and school groups.
Community Projects
The Innisfail Kinsmen fundraise for a wide range of community projects. Traditionally we help the town purchase equipment for our many parks and playgrounds. The focus on our fundraising for the last couple years has been the Innisfail Skate Park.
Innisfail Skatepark
The Innisfail Kinsmen members all live and work in our community. As we watch our children grow, we strive to make our community as positive and fun an environment as possible. To that end, for the last three years we have been spearheading fundraising for our towns skateboard park. We are happy to announce that construction has started!!
Playground Maintenance
One of our main initiatives in Innisfail is to beautify and maintain our parks and playgrounds. We fundraise for equipment and work with the Town of Innisfail to improve the existing playground equipment. Past projects include the Innisfail Frisbee Golf course and a new set of aluminum bleachers for the Innisfail High Schools football field. If you keep an eye out around town, you will see signs in all the parks and playgrounds we have worked in.
